Toyota Corolla Levin AE92 played an active part in the touring car race Group A that showed great excitement in Japan. The Group A specification was developed based on Corolla Levin's AE92 which was introduced in 1987. It was an FF-type front engine front drive with an in-line 4-cylinder 1587cc mounted on the front. While many teams are running AE92 Levin, two FET color cars, car no. 6 was driven by Hoshino/Misaki group and car no. 7 was driven by Suzuki/Nitta group. In the class with 1600cc placement or less, the Toyota Corolla Levin AE92 excited the fans with the battles for the top ranks.
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Toyota Corolla Levin AE92 Group A specification that was active in the 1989 JTC(All Japan Touring Car Championship) race.
