Rochobby Critical Mass High Speed PNP

The Dwelle family's 1950 Hawker Sea Fury T. Mk.20 known as "Critical Mass" has been a regular on the Reno Air Racing scene since 1987. It was very successful in the racing role; ex Vietnam Skyraider pilot and family patriarch Tom Dwelle finished 2nd place in the Reno Unlimited Gold class. This Sea Fury is somewhat unique in that it was originally built as a two seat, dual-control trainer before the front cockpit was removed to support its racing role

The RocHobby Critical Mass is very well mannered and capable of aerobatics that would leave lesser planes in the dust. The combination of a powerful 3648-KV770 motor and 14.8V 2200 mAh battery allow this Sport Racer to reach speeds in excess of 85 MPH with its stock 4 bladed prop. Clean lines, exceptional detail and simple assembly make this model a top choice among intermediate and advance sport flyers. This plane is made from EPO foam for maximum strength and durability.
