Delivery Terms Briefly:

  1. Products have a 14-day return policy. The buyer usually covers the return shipping. Exceptions listed below.

  2. If a product is available from the Turku store's stock (estimated shipping time 1-24h), and the order is placed by 1:00 PM, we aim to dispatch the products the same day. If the order contains items with longer delivery times (e.g., estimated shipping time 4-12 business days), the shipping time is determined by the slowest product. Shipments are normally delivered as complete, so the delivery time is always determined by the slowest product. Nowadays, in the online store, there is also the option to pay for two shipments if desired, in which case the order will be delivered in two parts. If the delivery time for a product is marked as 1-3 months, it means it is out of stock from us and the wholesaler. In this case, the delivery time may also be significantly longer.   3. If a wrong product has been delivered to the consumer, or if the product is defective, the consumer must notify us immediately. Therefore, carefully check your order to ensure that all products are included, match the items listed in the shipment, and are in good condition. Do not use a defective product to avoid further damage. If you have ordered a model kit, check within 14 days of receiving it that all parts and castings are included. The instruction manual usually contains a list of parts and castings that should be included in the model kit.

If you have received the wrong product, the product is defective, or parts are missing, please report it to the warranty/customer service of Hobbylinna.fi online store via email. The email address and detailed instructions can be found here.

  1. Hobbylinna.fi is not responsible if the shipping company changes the customer's selected pickup point to another. For example, if a parcel locker is full, Matkahuolto or Posti automatically change the pickup point to the next nearest available locker without separate notification. The shipping company may also change the delivery method to pickup from a service point, even if pickup from a parcel locker was selected when placing the order. If, for example, the parcel does not fit in the parcel locker.

Since Hobbylinna cannot influence the change of pickup point, Hobbylinna is not responsible if the package is not collected due to the change of pickup point. Nor for the return costs of the package or the costs of resending the package resulting from this.

The customer is responsible for the costs incurred from the return of the package. As well as the costs incurred from resending the package, if the customer wants the package to be resent. We normally charge €9.90 for the costs incurred from the return of the package. It is deducted from the value of the product refund if the customer does not want us to resend the order. Resending the package is agreed with the customer separately, and its cost.

Hobbylinna.fi is not responsible if the delivery of the order is prevented, hindered, or delayed due to circumstances beyond Hobbylinna.fi's control, such as strikes, war, natural disasters, export or import bans, official decisions, disruption of general traffic, or other similar activities hindering or preventing the operation of Hobbylinna.fi online store.

  1. Delivery Time

The dispatch time for our products is usually 1 - 12 business days. The delivery time varies depending on whether the product is in our own stock (dispatch time for the product 1-24h) or if it is available from the wholesaler's stock (dispatch time for the product e.g., 4-6 business days or 4-12 business days). You can see the exact delivery time on the product card below the price. We always aim for the fastest possible delivery. If all the products in the order are available directly from our stock (all the products in the order have a dispatch time of 1-24h), orders placed before 1:00 PM usually leave the store on the same day.

We strive to contact customers as soon as possible via email or phone if we notice that the delivery of the order will take longer than the estimated dispatch time on the website. If the order contains products with different estimated delivery times, the dispatch speed of the order is determined by the slowest product. Orders are almost always sent as complete shipments, only when all products are ready for dispatch. Nowadays, there is also the option in the online store to pay for two shipments if desired, in which case the order will be delivered in two parts.

  1. Payment Methods

Right of Return and Product Exchanges

Products have a full 14-day return policy. The returned product must be unused and unchanged, i.e., in new condition. The packaging must also be in sellable condition. According to the new law, customer returns are no longer free of charge. In paid returns, the customer usually pays the shipping costs directly at the post office or Matkahuolto service point when sending the package. We also charge reasonable shipping costs if the product has been delivered free of freight and the payment option has an additional payment method fee.

The free right of return applies to damaged products or if you have received an otherwise incorrect delivery. In this case, you do not have to pay shipping costs.
