| Little Legend Adorable looks and an extremely nimble drive are just two of the reasons behind the massive popularity enjoyed by the Fiat 500, which was adopted by many residents of Italy as their daily run-around. The second generation of the car was manufactured between 1957 and 1975. Measuring in at less than three meters, this rear-wheel drive car's 500cc 2-cylinder engine was housed in the back; it could just about hold four people in its rather spartan interior. The 500F was first sold in 1965 and was updated with front-hinged doors and larger tail lamps. The Fiat 500 would of course become a worldwide hit, and even evolved into a third generation model in 2007. |
